Data Recovery

What is Data Recovery

Data recovery is the process of salvaging data from damaged, failed, corrupted, or inaccessible secondary storage media when it cannot be accessed normally. Often the data is being salvaged from storage media such as hard disk drives, storage tapes, CDs, DVDs, RAID, and other electronics. Recovery may be required due to physical damage to the storage device or logical damage to the file system that prevents it from being mounted by the host operating system.

A recent survey showed that two thirds of small and medium sized companies which suffered a serious data loss, ceased trading within 12 months. So, not a subject to be taken lightly!

Nothing can stop your hard drive from crashing when its time is due. A hard disk can last ten minutes or ten years – to the uninitiated, there is often no warning that it is about to fail. Hence, critical data MUST be backed up on a regular basis.

Our engineers can recover data from hard drives even if they have been accidentally formatted!

No data recovered – no charge!
